Excessive
Had my 37 week prenatal check up today.
Dr. Hartmann is having me go back Thursday to check my blood pressure. It was high. :( This was the first time all pregnancy! It should be fine though. I chalk it up to freaking out about my benefits/maternity leave (which is scheduled to start on Thursday, but they keep giving me all kinds of issues.) Fingers crossed that it was just a fluke.

I feel like shiv. So tired. Contractions kept waking me up all night. And if it wasn’t them, it was Elodie punching and squirming and shaking my whole body. Or cold sweats. Ugh. I hope she comes in the next couple days. I’m so over pregnancy (and when I told my mom that, she said that sounded just about right for a 9 months pregnant girl about to go into labor.)

Contractions!
I’ve had two intense ones since 4:45. What if this is it? They haven’t put me off my feet yet (I’m still at work and am here until 8.) But this is what my childbirth class and book have said the early stages are like.
I feel great though. Got a little dizzy when they hit, but other than that, it’s not that big of a deal. Just like a uncomfortable cramping/tightening.

did I mention that at my prenatal yesterday, the midwife Mimi told me I’m 2 cm dialated and 50% effaced? May be a little bit of TMI, but I think it’s hella cool and super exciting. Elodie can come any DAY now. What?!

This should be a real movie
So I had this dream last night that was this movie. It had Alexis Bledel and Kristen Stewart playing closeted lovers. And Bledel’s father was played by that one guy from NCSI, the white haired but younger looking guy. He found out about the relationship and then Stewart and Bledel come up with a scheme to kill him. But Stewart ends up dying instead. And then Bledel was in a loony bin.
